Doula on Call!

And I'm on call!

I'm so excited and honoured to have been invited along this birthing experience with my beautiful client. I am now on call until her little baby makes an arrival. I've made protein peanut balls for during labour, nourishing groaning cake for after labour and a shepherd's pie for her and her little family for their 1st day as a bigger family.

My bag is packed with things that will bring comfort, focus and energy. I've already delivered my Rebozo scarf, tens machine and electric back warmer and the birthing pool has been hand delivered. Everything is ready for take off.

Being a doula is the best job in the world! I love that I get to feed the new mummy with information, nutritious food and encouragement. If you need me in the next 4+ weeks I'll be sitting by my phone on tenterhooks
